Journalists to ‘boycott’ Kangana after an ugly spat with PTI Journalist

The Entertainment Journalists Guild of India has decided to boycott Kangana for her misbehavior with the journalist. They demand a public apology from Ekta Kapoor and Ms Ranaut.

Kangana got into a fight with a PTI journalist, Justin Rao at a promotional event of her upcoming movie, ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’.

The viral video shows Kangana lashing out at the journalist as she accused him of running a ‘smear campaign’ against her.

She was seen losing her temper as the journalist began questioning the success of her directorial-debut Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. This hasn’t gone down well with media fraternity who has claimed to boycott Kangana completely.

On Tuesday, the members of the Entertainment Journalists Guild of India asked Judgementall hai Kya producer Ekta Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut to issue a public apology or else she will be boycotted for the rest of her career in Bollywood.

As per the guild, Kangana refused to take any questions from Justin Rao. She began thrashing him even before he could complete his question which was originally related to the film only.

After two days of crazy media drama, producer Ekta Kapoor has agreed to issue an apology but for Kangana that seems like a far possibility.

Ranaut’s sister, Rangoli Chandel took to Twitter to state that Kangana will never issue an apology for the anti-national journalists who are trying to bring her down.

The media boycott would mean no promotional looks, reviews, box-office collections and success party coverage for Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’.

From the looks of it, the media is pretty upset about the whole spat and wouldn’t let it go easily. It is for Kangana to decide the fate of her film and career. Will we see an apology from the star?
