Kangana refused to apologize, urge journalists to continue their ban

Kangana refused to apologize to the Entertainment Journalists Guild of India for her misbehaviour with a PTI journalist at the song launch from her upcoming movie ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’. She responded with a video urging the journalists to further their ban instead.

The Kangana-Journalist feud doesn’t seem to come to an end anytime soon. Recently, Ms Ranaut hit headlines for getting into an ugly spat with a PTI journalist at an event of her upcoming movie.

The brawl took a whole new level as it became a topic of national interest in the days to follow. The journalist accused Kangana of being disrespectful and unapologetic for her behaviour.

As a result, the Entertainment Journalist Guild of India has decided to ban Kangana until she publically apologizes for her misconduct.

Kangana’s sister, Rangoli Chandel took to Twitter this morning to share a two-part video of Ms Ranaut sharing her response to the Entertainment Journalist’s Guild request for an apology.

In the video, she vividly describes Indian media as ‘deshdrohi, bikau, sasti, not even 10th-fail’ individuals. In the rumbling rant, she talks about the smear campaign that Justin Rao, the journalist in question had previously talked ill about her directorial debut Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has been running against her.

She claims that she won’t apologize to the media who are ‘ganging up’ against her and are available ‘for sale at Rs 60’.

However, she doesn’t shy away from thanking the media who have helped her Bollywood career but certainly not these.

The now viral video of Kangana’s rant has garnered more than 2 lakh views till now. The response so far has been inclined towards the Ranaut sisters who are putting up a bold fight against the biased media.

Will this brawl lead to the demise of Kangana, the star or will it bring a change in the Indian media scenario? We have to wait and watch.
