Bollywood’s handsome hunk Kartik Aaryan bags director Om Raut’s 3D action film. The actor can’t contain his excitement as this happens to be his first action film.
Kartik Aaryan has become the hot-shot property of Bollywood these days. In the last two years, the actor has delivered back-to-back super hit films like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, ‘Luka Chhupi’ and recently released ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’.
With several hit movies in his kitty, Kartik has established himself as the cute boy-next-door with chocolaty looks who fits the rom-com film lead characters perfectly. Kartik’s characters always have the happy-go-lucky vibe with a dash of funny monologue to pack it all.
This time the actor will be seen in a completely different avatar of an action hero in a 3D film. According to reports, director Om Raut has recently locked-down Kartik Aaryan as his leading hero for an upcoming action flick. The ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ director is keen on having the Bollywood heartthrob play the role of an action hero in his upcoming 3D film.
Talking about Om Raut’s film, Kartik said that Bhushan Kumar (owner T-series) knew about Kartik’s wish to play an action hero in a film. This is how Bhushan Kumar got Om Raut and Kartik Aaryan together for their untitled next. Kartik even said that he was completely blown away with the spectacular visuals and the narrative of ‘Tanhaji..’, Om Raut’s last film with Ajay Devgn. He also added that Om Raut’s 3D vision is unparalleled which excites his beyond measure.
Bhusan Kumar said, “With the script, Om has written, Kartik fits the role to the T. It’s Om’s vision and passion for cinema which I saw with ‘Tanhaji..’ which made me want to back his next as well. This will be T-Series’ first with this kind of a movie which will be a fast-paced action film on a heist.”
Director Om Raut’ first-ever film ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ went on to collect Rs 250 crores. This strengthened his relationship with the T-Series production house who’ll be backing the Kartik Aaryan starrer project. The rest of the star cast is yet to be finalised for the film.
