Malang 7th Day Box Office Collection: Aditya Roy Kapur And Disha Patani Starrer Collected Around Rs 3 Crore on Day 7, Has A Very Good Week.
Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani starrer ‘Malang’ had a pretty good opening week at the box office. In fact, the film has performed better than expectations. It got off to a decent start and then witnessed good growth in business over the first weekend. On Monday, the film witnessed a routine drop and since then it is on a steady run.
As per the reports coming, Malang 7th day box office collection is around Rs 3 crore. The total collection of the film after 7 days stands at Rs 39+ crore. For Aditya Roy Kapur, Malang is now the highest opening week grosser. It has beaten the first week collection of Aashiqui 2 (Rs 38.27 crore).
Malang 1st week collection: Day-wise report
Released with low expectations, Mohit Suri’s directional opened to very good numbers. It collected Rs 6.71 crore on its first day. The film business went up over the weekend. It collected Rs 8.89 crore on Saturday followed by Rs 9.76 crore on Sunday.
After a drop of around 40% on Monday, the film remained steady with just a 5% drop on Tuesday. However, on Wednesday and Thursday, the drop in numbers was more than expected. The film has almost touched Rs 40 crore mark in the first week. A look at the day-wise box office collection of Malang:

After a good opening week, the film would be hoping for a good run in the coming day. There is no competition for Malang as new release Love Aaj Kal has received pathetic reviews from critics. The other holdover releases have almost exhausted their run.
Directed by Mohit Suri, the budget of Malang is around Rs 60 crore. It will be considered hit if it crosses Rs 70 crore mark. After a Rs 40 crore week, the film has a definite chance to become a box office hit.
