Manikarnika Box Office Prediction: Kangana Ranaut’s Biopic Drama Is All Set For A Good Opening

Manikarnika Box Office Prediction: Kangana Ranaut’s most anticipated movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is in cinemas now. Read on to know the box office potential of the movie.

It’s going to be a treat for Bollywood movie lovers as two big biopic dramas have made their way to the cinema halls.

The first one titled Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi stars Kangana Ranaut in the titular role of Rani Laxmibai. The second one is the biopic on Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray.

A lot is expected from both movies as far as the content is concerned. The trailer of both films has been loved by the audience and critics.

Let’s have a look at the box office prediction of Manikarnika and Thackeray.

Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika has been in the news ever since its announcement. It is one of the most awaited movies of 2019 and unarguably the biggest for Kangana Ranaut’s career.

Manikarnika is releasing on around 2500 screens in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Estimated to be made on a budget of 100+ crores, Manikarnika is expected to take 12 to 14 crore opening. It will be the biggest opening day grosser for Kangana Ranaut.

In the last couple of years, content-driven films are making it big at the box office. Manikarnika looks promising and if it manages to deliver even 70% of what it promises the 100 crore is certainly on the card.

Talking about the other release Thackeray, we can’t expect big numbers from it. The film in itself looks promising but its audience is quite limited. Releasing on around 1500 screens, Thackeray is expected to make huge money in the Mumbai and Maharastra. The budget of the film is around 30 crores and I am expecting it to open at around 5 crores.

There is no doubt about the fact that Manikarnika would overtake Thackeray at the box office. The big question here is that which film would be a bigger hit in terms of ROI.
