Panga 3rd day box office collection: Despite being a very good film, Kangana Ranaut’s Panga is under-performing at the box office. The film has a poor opening day with collections of Rs 2.7 crore. Though the film doubles its business on Saturday, it once again disappointed on Sunday. As per the reports coming, Panga remained flat at the box office on Sunday. This is probably because the film has been rejected in the mass centres.
Panda 3rd day box office collection is Rs 6.60 crore. The first weekend collection of the film is around Rs 14.91 crore. This is definitely a below-par number. Ideally, the film should have earned in excess of Rs 20 crore. The opening weekend numbers of Panga is low than Kangana Ranaut’s last two films, Manikarnika and Judgementall Hai Kya.
Panga is one of those films which could have performed well in the long run. But the problem here is the competition. Panga is competing with biggies like Street Dancer 3D and Tanhaji. Both films have mass appeal and are performing pretty well at the box office.
Panga has received positive reviews from the critics. The word of mouth of the also positive. However, it is still struggling because it lacks mass appeal. The drop on Monday will decide the box office fate of the film.
The budget of Panga is around Rs 30 crore. It needs to collect just Rs 40 crore to become a box office hit. Despite being a very good film, Panga may become a box office flop.
