Shah Rukh Khan has said that he doesn’t feel like doing any new movie for the next 2-3 months, because he is still disappointed by the failure of Zero.

As far as the box office success of his films is concerned, King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan is going through the toughest phase of his prolific career. There was a time when Shahrukh Khan used to be the king of the Indian box office. However, in the last 4-5 years, things have changed.

In the last five years, most of his movies tanked at the box office. His recent release film, Anand L Rai directional Zero also turned out one of the major disappointments of 2018. the expectations from Zero were sky high and its failure is a big setback for SRK.

Shahrukh is distressed by the failure of Zero and his recent statement is a testimony. SRK has said that the critical and commercial failure of Zero has affected him, and he has lost the enthusiasm to move on to a new project.

SRK said that this time, he will take some time before signing new projects, unlike previous occasions, when he made the decision in two-three months.

“This time, I didn’t feel like doing it. I thought, this time, I will take out time to watch films and listen to scripts and read books. My kids are also doing finishing their college life. Suhana is still in college, Aryan will hopefully pass his college in a year. I want to spend more time with my family,” he said.

He continued, “I said somewhere that I might decide in June about my next project. But I won’t even do it in June, I will only do a film when I feel like doing it from my heart. I only act when it comes from my heart, but this time I don’t feel like doing it. A lot of people are telling me stories, I’ve heard 15-20 stories, I liked 2-3 of them. But I haven’t decided yet which film to do. Because the moment I take a decision, I will have to start working on films. I will completely be engrossed in it.”

Directed by Anand L Rai and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Zero was a big failure at the box office. Reported to be produced in a budget of 200 crores, it earned 186 crores at the worldwide box office.
