Sona Mohapatra once again targets Salman Khan, calls him a “paper tiger”

Singer Sona Mohapatra has launched a fresh attack on Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. This time, she calls him a ‘paper tiger’.

Singer Sona Mohapatra has once again targeted superstar Salman Khan and this for his film’s Bharat box office performance. Sharing a box office report of Salman’s recent release ‘Bharat’, Sona took a jibe and asked fans to “stop worshipping these paper tiger” claiming that the actor failed to “deliver a single, full week of returns”.

Sona tweeted:

Her tweet reads, “Q. What do you call filmi superstars that don’t even deliver a single, full week of returns in the public domain despite all the hype, promotions & posturing?  A. Paper Tigers (P.S: Stop worshipping these paper tigers dear #India . Let’s find & BE more worthy ‘heros’) (sic)”

As expected, the tweet didn’t go well with Salman Khan’s fans and they hit back with at Sona. There were some who backed Sona’s post. Here’s a look at some replies:

Well, this is not the first time that Sona has targeted Salman Khan. The Dabangg Khan has been under her scanner for a long time now. A few days back Sona hit out at Salman for taking continuous digs at Priyanka Chopra for opting out of his film ‘Bharat’.

She tweeted, “A showcase and poster child of toxic masculinity. Low brow dig at not only a woman who was not in the room but a disgusting disregard and contempt for the woman and colleague sitting next to him in the same room. Unless we call out such serial bad behaviour, nothing changes.”

Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s Bharat is all set to cross 200 crore mark at the domestic box office. Released on 5 June 2019, the movie has so far earned around 198.5 crores. It is the second highest grossing movie of the year after ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike.’
