War Box Office Collection Day 9: Check the second Thursday box office collection and occupancy report of action-thriller War.
With 227 crores already in the pocket, Hrithik and Tiger starrer ‘War’ is all set to become the highest-grossing movie of 2019. The film has consumed a large chunk of its audience in the first week. The first major drop in the collection came yesterday. However, it still managed to earn 11.2 crores.
Now, the movie has started the 9th day (2nd Thursday) on a positive note. Early reports suggest that War recorded an occupancy of around 12% in the morning shows. It witnessed good growth as the day progressed.

As per Taran Adarsh, War day 9 box office collection is 9.25 crores. The total after 9 days stands at 238.35 crores. With no big competition from tomorrow, War will retain good amount of screens in its second week. With the current trending, it should easily cross 300 crore mark.
War box office collection: Record-breaking first week
War enjoyed the best opening week collection of all time with the collection of 261.65. The film shattered all box office records in the first week outside Baahubali 2. Here’s a look at the day-wise collection of War:

WAR budget and box office economics
Directed by Siddharth Anand, WAR is a hit film as it will cross 225 crore mark. The budget of the film is around 200 crores. It will be considered a hit if it crosses 225 crores. Lifetime collection of 300+ crores will ensure blockbuster status for it. It would be interesting to see if it can achieve this number.
