After the tremendous success of its two seasons, Manoj Bajpayee-led spy thriller series The Family Man is undoubtedly the most anticipated web series of 2023.
The debut season of Amazon’s original series ‘The Family Man’ premiered on September 20, 2019, on the platform while the Second season, which marked the OTT debut of South superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu, premiered on June 4, 2021.
Both seasons received acclaim from critics and audiences, praising the performance of the cast members, writing, and execution.
The show received 11 Filmfare OTT Awards, 5 Asian Academy Creative Awards, and 2 awards at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. Now it is all geared up for the third season.

- National award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee, the protagonist, will reprise his role as Srikant Tiwari a.k.a Sri, who is a senior agent and analyst in Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a branch of the National Investigation Agency.
- Sharib Hashmi will play as Jayavant Kashinath Talpade aka JK, Srikant’s friend, and colleague
- South Indian actress Priyamani as Srikant’s wife Suchitra Tiwari/ Suchi

The Family Man season 3 will also introduce some new faces and their names haven’t been revealed by the makers yet. Talking about the show’s makers, ace filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., popularly known as Raj & DK have created, written, and produced the series under their banner D2R Film.
The duo has collaborated for two more web shows with Amazon Prime Video and these are Shahid Kapoor-led Farzi and Pankaj Tripathi, Kunal Khemu, and Patralekha Paul starrer Gulkanda Tales.
The Family Man Season 3 Release Date
The announcement of the renewal of the series for the third season was made on April 28. Amazon Prime Video dropped the title poster of Season 3 with the caption “TheFamilyManOnPrime S3: call Chellam sir he will tell you that this is absolutely true”.
Recently, Manoj Bajpayee posted a video on his social media accounts that appeared to hint at the release date of The Family Man 3. However, it came out later that the teaser was actually for his movie, Gulmohar which also revolves around the family.
As a result, fans will have to wait a little longer for the arrival of The Family Man season 3. As per the reports, the series could be out in the coming months.
About Family Man
The Family Man is an edgy action drama series that follows Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who works for a special cell called TASC of the National Investigation Agency. While he tries to protect the nation from terrorists, he also has to protect his family from the impact of his secretive, high-pressure, and low income job.
The first season of the series was focused on Pakistani ISI-backed terrorist missions while the second season’s storyline focuses on a Srilankan militant separatist group named The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), who is fighting for an independent homeland for Tamils in Northeastern Sri Lanka.
A small hint was given at the end of Season 2 regarding Season 3, indicating that the storyline of the upcoming season is going to majorly focus on COVID-19, China, and the North Eastern States of India.
