South Indian actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan took their relationship to the next level by marrying on 9 June 2022.
The couple got engaged in 2021 in a close affair, later Nayanthara on a talk show officially confirmed the engagement news when asked about the ring on her finger.

The lovebirds got married at Sheraton Grand, Mahabs (Mahabalipuram), Tamil Nadu on Thursday. Earlier the couple had planned to get married in Tirupati, but owing to logistic issues the duo made changes to the plan, as per an interview given by Vignesh.
The wedding of the superstar actress and her filmmaker boyfriend was an intimate affair attended by only family members and a few close friends. Tamil Movie Industry legend Rajinikanth, Bollywood’s Shah Rukh Khan, and Vijay Sethupathi were a few stars who showered blessings on the couple.

While the wedding of the Nayanthara-Vignesh was a close affair, the reception will be a star-studded affair. As per the media reports, prominent figures of South India like CM MK Stalin, Ulganayagan Kamal Haasan, superstar Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Anirudh Ravichander, Suriya, Ajith, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi, and Thalapathy Vijay will attend the reception.
It was also reported that Samantha, who became a close friend of Nayanthara during the shoot of Kathu Vakula Rendhu Kaadhal, will also be gracing the reception. But, in the latest advancement, it is being said that Samantha will give the wedding a miss due to her work commitments. The actress is currently busy with the second schedule of her upcoming film Kushi.

The couple has two wedding invitation cards, the digital and the print, The digital card is the one that is doing the rounds on social media, and the invitation card has the background music of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, in which the couple has first worked together and fell in love.
It has been 6 yrs long relationship between the couple, Nayanthara (37) is one year older than Vignesh (36), however, you must have heard that Love sees no age! the couple here proved it too.
Wedding Ceremony Will Stream on OTT?
It is also rumored that Nayanthara and Vignesh’s wedding will be made into a documentary and the director Gautam Vasudev Menon is given the task to direct it. The Ceremony will later be premiered on the OTT platform. Reportedly it will be sold to Netflix for a whopping price. Wedding pictures will be out soon on the 9th of June, afternoon.
