Pisasu 2 Release Date, Star Cast, OTT, Trailer, Plot & More Details Here

Acclaimed director Shanmugha Raja, who is professionally known as Mysskin, will soon be back with the sequel of his superhit Tamil horror film Pisaasu titled Pisasu 2.

The film will be produced by T. Muruganantham under the banner of RockFort Entertainment while the first film of the franchise was bankrolled by popular producer Bala’s Studios.

Veteran music composer Ilayiraja’s son Karthik Raja is composing the songs and background score of the film. The film will also be released in Telugu along with Tamil. The Telugu version of the film is titled as Pishachi 2. It was also remade in Kannada as Raakshasi and in Hindi as Nanu Ki Jannu.

Pisasu 2 Star Cast

Indian actress and playback singer Andrea Jeremiah is playing a major female lead in the film. As per sources the critically acclaimed actress will be playing some bold and erotic scenes in the movie.

Megastar Vijay Sethupathi, who is called as Makkal Selvan by his fans is also playing an important cameo in the film. He is such a selfless actor who never refuses to play small roles even in small budget movies. He recently played a minor role in Kadaisi Vivasayi.

Andrea was last seen in Sudar C. ‘s comedy horror film Aranmanai 3, starring Arya, Sundar C in the lead along with her. Pisasu 2 marks the second collaboration between Andrea and the film’s director Mysskin, after producer Vishal’s 2019 Tamil action thriller Thupparivaalan, which starred her along with Prasanna, Vinay, Anu Emmaneul and K. Bhagyaarj.

The first film of the franchise had many actors including Naga, Radha Ravi, Rajkumar Pitchumani, Ashvatt, Kalyani Natarajan, Prayaga Martin and many more. It remains to be seen who among them are joining the star cast again for the upcoming film.

The makers of the movie unveiled its exciting first look on August 3, 2021. Interestingly, it doesn’t reveal any faces, instead, it features a smoking person with legs dangling outside a bathtub.
