James Cameron’s ‘Avengers: Endgame’ has crossed ‘Avatar’s’ global Box-Office collection of 2.78 billion dollars (19,210 crores) to become the highest-grossing movie ever on the planet.

Yesterday at the Marvel’s Comic-Con panel, Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced that ‘Avengers: Endgame’ had successfully replaced James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ to become the biggest film of all time on the face of the Earth.

It took a whole nine years to get beat the epic film’s Box-Office collection but it finally happened. A lot of the film’s accelerated collection can be credited to the re-release on 28 June with the edited/deleted Hulk scene, Stan Lee tribute and some post-credits scene featuring characters from Sony’s Spider-Man: Far From Home.

According to Hollywood website Deadline, there is currently a gap of 500,000 $ (Rs3.44 crore) in global ticket sales between ‘Avatar’ and Avengers: Endgame’, and the latter will click past that on Sunday. The maker, James Cameron is proud to have beaten his very own record set nine years ago with ‘Avatar’.

The ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is set to release online and home video streaming. The trailer is already trending on YouTube making it another excitement feast for the Marvel fans.

The trailer shows that the upcoming home video stream will feature some more deleted scenes, additional footage from the making of the film, interviews with the star cast; funny on-set snippets and an inside look into the Stan Lee cameo.

The studio is delighted to have received such a positive and overwhelming response from the fans that’ve been following the film characters for a decade now.

As for the director, James Cameron he will yet another chance to beat Avengers: Endgame record with ‘Avatar 2’ on 17 December 2021. Let us see if Disney Studios can outdo themselves or not.
