1- Understand the Syllabus

Each section has its own set of the syllabus. So it is important for the candidates to check the entire IBPS PO 2023 Syllabus covered in the exam. Many candidates make the error of studying everything in each subject, which dilutes their efforts. Doing this will only confuse them.

2- Make Study Plan

Aspirants should devise a study strategy that allows them to concentrate more on weaker sections. An ideal study plan includes revision at regular intervals. Apart from this, candidates should work on quantitative aptitude and reasoning questions, as these sections are lengthy. Only with regular practice candidates can excel in these sections.

For English, current affairs candidates should make it a daily routine to read the newspaper and magazines and write down important words and news. Reading regularly will not only improve their general knowledge but also enhance their vocabulary and grammar.

3- Clear the Concept

For sections like reasoning and quantitative aptitude, aspirants should clear the basic fundamentals. Knowing the concept will help them easily solve the questions. There are many topics in these sections that can be solved with shortcuts. Candidates should grasp concepts first and then move on to shortcut tricks to solve questions. This will help them save time on lengthy questions.

4- Develop Time management Skills

IBPS PO is a time-bound online exam. Only with regular practice, candidates can ace their time management. Candidates should start by answering questions that are simpler. And then move on to the time-consuming questions. It will help them to boost their confidence and focus to easily solve taught questions.

5- Take the IBPS PO Mock test

Candidates should take mock tests on a regular basis to improve their problem-solving speed and determine their weak points. Also, it will help aspirants stay updated with the types and formats of questions asked in the exam.

Candidates should know that they can’t re-attempting questions once a section has been finished.

6- Review IBPS PO Previous Years Papers

Along with the mock test, candidates should solve the previous year’s question paper to better understand which topics carry more weightage and what types of questions are asked in the exam. It will also help them to know the difficulty level of the exam.

7- Review Your Mistakes

While solving the mock test or the previous year’s exam paper, candidates should note down questions that are incorrect and consume more time. Doing this will help them find their weaker sections, which will eventually help them make their study plan accordingly.

8- Check the Previous Year’s Cut-off

Candidates should check the IBPS PO previous year’s cut-off in order to know the minimum qualifying score for each stage. This will help them know the difficulty level of the exam. By reviewing the sectional cutoffs, candidates can set goals and plan appropriately as per the importance of each section.

9- Make a Weekly Schedule

Your IBPS PO exam preparation will go more smoothly if you have a good weekly programme and give each section equal attention. This will assist candidates in allocating equal time to each section. Candidates should include mock tests in their preparation to build speed and identify their weak sections.

Conclusion

In addition to the subject-specific IBPS PO Preparation Strategy listed above, candidates should develop their own strategies and focus on their practice before taking the IBPS PO 2023 exam. The applicants’ preparation for the IBPS PO exam won’t be complete unless they develop the habit of solving practice papers and taking mock tests daily.
