Marking Scheme for Paper 1
- The exam consists of 90 objective questions (multiple choice questions) with a total of 270 marks.
- For each correct answer, candidates will get three marks, while for each incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of one mark.
- Note that there is no negative marking in session 1, but in session 2 there will be a negative marking of 1 mark.
- Altogether, there are four sections: numerical and mathematical ability; reasoning ability and problem solving; general awareness; and English language and comprehension. Each section consists of 20 to 25 questions.
- The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes, and the time given to VH and CP candidates is 120 minutes.
