As per the reports, he said that he missed the food of the prison and was not at all happy staying at his home. He further said that his family members didn’t take care of him and he didn’t get dinner, breakfast and lunch at his home on time.

He told police that unlike home, there was nobody who called him lazy in jail. He said besides food, he was missing his inmates and friends in jail.

This man was earlier caught for theft in the month of March, and he spent three months in Puzhal prison as an undertrial. He then came out of the jail on June 29, but this freedom didn’t feel nice to him.

He said to Police that life wasn’t easy once he came out of the jail as his children and wife were always abusing him.

As per the report, Gnanaprakasam told police that he left home thinking of a way to return to the prison. He stole a bike Kailasapuram First Street in West Tambaram.
